Welcome to our blog page. I’m excited to bring thoughts on what makes a Dangerous Gentlemen, and why this is desperately needed in our society today. Real men are dangerous. They are capable of violence, but they choose restraint until violence is needed to protect. The popular idea amongst mainstream media and recent cultural ideologies is that all violence and being dangerous is bad. When examples of weak men attacking women or others that aren’t as capable are shown constantly on the news or socials it can be easy to fall into this trap. But these so called “men” are just bullies and have no virtues or morals. They are selfish and have been lied to that they deserve what others have and they have no morality stopping them to get what their evil minds desire. This blog will dissect what it is that makes a true Dangerous Gentlemen and what we need to do to bring this back in our society. These posts will be categorized as “The Code.”
One of our core principles here at Dangerous Gents is to “Protect Those That Cant Protect Themselves.” Whether that role is in fatherhood, as a male member of our community, or as a chosen profession of protection in uniform, this applies to all. If we as men need to protect someone or something that cant defend itself, we need to make sure that we have the skills and capability to follow through. If we find our self in a situation where we warn away evil, but have no capability to defeat it, then we are not dangerous.
